Red drum fishing has really been great for the month August,2008,all my charters are catching red drum,this makes for some happy charter customers.I am fishing mostly in the smaller creeks just off the Cape Fear River.

I fished yesterday for Red Drum,in a small creek just off the Cape Fear River,bite started about late in the afternoon, caught two Red Drum over the slot limit, a total of 12 Red Fished caught and released just a great afternoon of Carolina Beach Fishing !

Red Fish & Flounder are biting consistantly now,with the steady flow of finger mullet showing up in ICW and back waters of the Cape Fear River. I had a great charter on July 3, 2008 weather was perfect with a nice couple onboard to fish with,Anna Arwood & Joel wanted a day in the sun and just catch some fish to eat.
I fished the Liberty Ship at Wrightsville Beach,N.C. and the jetty wall caught some nice spanish mackerel on light tackle.
