Carolina Beach Inlet is the place to go for some winter time light tackle action.Red drum have been biting cut bait,fresh shrimp on Carolina rigs well for about two months now.Black drum are also being caught,in the inlet,these fish are a lot of fun to catch and are great table eating ! Red drum fishing has really been great for the month August,2008,all my charters are catching red drum,this makes for some happy charter customers.I am fishing mostly in the smaller creeks just off the Cape Fear River.
